Mark Hunter talks with media |
As the team is staying in Trois Riviere it is a 30 minute bus ride to the pre-game skate. Breakfast was served at 9:30 with the team hitting the ice at 11:00 a.m. Today, it was a light skate without full equipment. Goalie Michael Houser did not dress.
Several players as well as GM-Coach Mark Hunter were made available to the media. Sportsnet wanted to interview the Rupert twins. On our CJBK pre-game show tonight, we'll have the first installment of our new show "The Rupes.." Ryan Rupert interviews brother Matt. Tune in between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at www.cjbk.com.

Ollie Maatta |
Knights owner and former coach Dale Hunter has also arrived. He joined the coaching staff at the opening game last night between Shawinigan and Edmonton.
|
Knights rookie Bo Horvat |
It was also great to visit with former Knights assistant coach Mike Kelly. He was a Knights assistant coach in the late 80's. Kelly was part of the Knights team that played in 3 seven game series in 1989. He will also be a guest on the pre-game show.
