KNIGHTS ARRIVE IN QUEBEC
Charter flight takes the Knights to Memorial Cup

The London Knights are safely in Trois Riviere, Que.  The charter flight was smooth and quick and had players and staff feeling like they were in the big leagues.

Lots of legroom.  Snacks and a full meal were served by attentive staff.  There was no regular boarding inconveniences as the team bus drove right up to the waiting plane.

Those who have been in the big leagues acknowledged this was an everyday experience in the NHL - as one of them joked "the Never Hungry League... "

The flight took about an hour and a half and the landing was smooth.  Bags were transferred to a bus by waiting Memorial Cup volunteers and a welcoming committee made sure all arrangements were satisfactory.

As the Knights checked into the Trois Riviere Delta - staff applauded.  One sign said "Bienvenue.." and another might have violated Quebec's Bill 101.  It was all in English, welcoming the Knights and wishing them good luck.  Everything about the Memorial Cup says first class.
